You’re engaged, you’re excited, you’re eager and you want to share it with EVERYONE. What better way to express your emotions then to start sending out your invitations?
An invitation is where the event begins. It’s crazy how such a small card can reflect a couples personality and set an envision of the big day. Every invitation is the beginning of a story and sets the first impression for your guests.
Trending lately, to give your guests a taste of what to expect – send your invitation out on a plate inspired circular shape like this blog!
As the planning process continues, you can link your menu cards, place cards, table numbers and party favours back to the envision painted with the invitation.
Check out some suggestions below in regards to sending out invitations:

  • Send out the invitations no later than 2 months prior to the wedding
  • If you’re planning a destination wedding, send invites out 3 months prior to so it gives extra time to make arrangements
  • Set the RSVP date 1 month before the wedding. This allocates some extra time for the guests who don’t respond
  • Be specific (Are children invited, is there a plus one)
